ProGigFinder was founded in Uganda in 2025 with a clear mission: to bridge skills and job opportunities across Africa. We set out to build a digital marketplace that turns skills into real work — transparently and efficiently — starting in East Africa and expanding across the continent.
Our founder, Allan Tumuhimbise, launched ProGigFinder to connect talent with meaningful opportunities — from full-time jobs to freelance gigs and professional services. The platform prioritizes meaningful connections over keyword matching, addressing the needs of both job seekers and employers across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and beyond.
We envision ProGigFinder becoming a leading platform that serves all types of talent and companies across the continent, with a focus on quality opportunities and equipping professionals with AI-powered career tools to compete in a changing job market.
