Job Description

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Part or fully qualified ACCA / CPA preferred
• At least 3 years’ hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax law and proficiency in ERP / accounting software

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations, and financial reports
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general-ledger postings accurately and on time
• Compute and file statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, NSSF, withholding tax) with URA and NSSF
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, vouchers, and supporting documentation
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control reviews with the Finance Manager
