Requirements

  • Relevant certifications in UAS operation are highly desirable
  • Practical experience in the UAS industry including design, operation, or regulatory compliance is desirable
  • Knowledge of UAS systems design, flight dynamics, navigation systems, payload integration, and airspace regulations
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Ability to deliver effective and engaging instruction to university-level students

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS/drones) to aviation engineering students
  • Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments aligned with industry and regulatory standards
  • Conduct lectures, practical sessions, simulations, and examinations
  • Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students
  • Contribute to curriculum review and development in the UAS domain
  • Collaborate with full-time faculty on course planning and coordination
  • Maintain current knowledge of UAS technology, regulations, and industry developments
  • Report on student performance and academic progress as required
