Requirements

• Previous experience in team management, preferably with experience in cash movements or cash-in-transit.
• 2+ years of experience as a liquidity manager.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time within Burkina Faso.
• Equivalent of a Bachelor's degree — secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or comparable field.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Work authorization in Burkina Faso is required.
• Located in Bobo Dioulasso.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a skilled team capable of responding to the fast-growing Wave environment.
• Develop the necessary materials for a sustainable, structured liquidity department.
• Maintain oversight of the liquidity status nationwide, especially in the assigned region.
• Develop relationships with bank partners.
• Identify priority areas and develop innovative solutions to Wave's liquidity needs.
• Coordinate and lead the team to implement the strategy and achieve planned OKRs in agent ops across assigned regions.
• Supervise Premium Cash Officers and Premium Cash Assistants and manage their day-to-day activities.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of Premium Cash Officers and Assistants.
• Monitor team daily to detect wrongdoing or theft and report any risks proactively.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Conduct field research and investigation for the liquidity team.
