Backend Software Engineer

As part of the engineering team in Nigeria, you will work closely with the global engineering team (distributed across three continents) to strengthen existing products and build new ones. Example projects include building new functionality for Credit and Wallet products, improving reliability of core payments and banking systems, architecting data pipelines and machine learning models for credit underwriting, and more. Help build flexible and easy-to-use tools used by operations teams to handle customer inquiries and other business processes. Excellent collaborator and communicator who listens to others and seeks to understand, but is not afraid to speak up and debate respectfully. Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, data storage, and agile development methodologies. Pragmatic approach combining strong understanding of technology and product needs to find the best solution for a problem.
