Branch International Finance Company Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive on a 6-month contract to lead the growth of credit products targeting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and individual customers across Nigeria. This role will be crucial in expanding market presence by selling innovative financial solutions, including personal and salary loans and personal finance products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Nigerian credit market, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to forge strong relationships with SMEs and individual clients. 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the financial services or fintech industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in selling credit products, particularly to SMEs and individual customers in Nigeria.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian credit market and its regulatory framework.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with clients and strategic partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and a great team collaborator.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct presentations, workshops, and events to showcase Branch's credit solutions to potential clients and partners.
  • Ensure superior customer experience by providing comprehensive support throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Act as brand ambassador for Branch, promoting its values and commitment to financial inclusion.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive the adoption of Branch's credit products such as personal loans and other financial offerings.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with salaried employees, business owners, and individual clients to drive product adoption and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions aligned with Branch's product offerings.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key organizations, trade associations, and industry influencers to expand Branch's market reach.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights.
