Job Description
Wave is making Africa the first cashless continent. We are looking for a resourceful, organised, and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team in Cameroon. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you are the bridge between external companies and internal Wave teams, cultivating relationships, establishing partnerships, and executing contracts as we rapidly scale.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position at banks, telcos, international remittance companies, or Fintechs.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Work authorization in Cameroon is required.
Responsibilities
- Research and leverage networks to identify the best partners for Wave.
- Manage relationships with all external stakeholders and ensure Wave's service level agreements are met.
- Produce key business performance reports periodically for Wave partners.
- Develop and update presentations for partner meetings and internal playbooks.
- Ensure Wave Cameroon complies with all relevant regulations alongside the Compliance team.
- Willingness to relocate to other regions for 2-3 month periods is required.
- Build and strengthen partnerships between Wave and key entities including the Central Bank, banks, microfinances, telecom companies, international remittances, and businesses needed to scale.
- Facilitate communication between external partners and internal Wave teams (Product, Finance, Distribution, Compliance, Legal)
