Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields (required)
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Professional qualifications: CAMS, ACCPA, CGSS (added advantage)
- Minimum 2-5 years experience.
- General banking operations: 2 years (essential)
- Compliance, Audit, Risk: 2 years (desirable)
- Analytical skills experience: 1 year (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out compliance risk events data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports including recommendations to mitigate non-compliance exposures.
- Assist in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the compliance program and related activities.
- Assist in revising the compliance program in response to the changing needs of the organization.
- Coordinate with HR, legal affairs and other organizational functions on educational and training programs for compliance.
- Interact with workers of different units to inquire about reasons for non-compliance and provide necessary guidance.
- Assist in providing periodic assessment of up-to-date status of policies and maintain policy tracking.
- Assist in analyzing incident reports to identify key themes requiring internal compliance policy action.
- Assessment of key compliance risk issues and recommend risk treatment.
- Review and analyze audit and inspection reports to identify key vulnerabilities.
