Facilities Officer

Job Description

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Facilities, Office Management, or a similar position.
• Degree or Diploma in business administration or a related field.
• Fluency in English, French, and local languages.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Expertise in working with diverse stakeholders to achieve complex and challenging objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Work authorization in Burkina Faso is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, tidy, and well-organized office environments.
• Ensure general upkeep of facilities, buildings, and equipment.
• Manage room bookings for meetings and training sessions.
• Support office efficiency through layout planning, equipment procurement, moves, expansions, and reconfigurations.
• Coordinate and track maintenance work orders.
• Supervise a team of contractors including cleaning, landscaping, painting, and repairs.
• Address building, connectivity, and maintenance issues in offices and housing.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds.
• Ensure assets and buildings comply with local regulations and safety standards.
• Follow up on utility bill payments including electricity, water, and internet.
• Manage inventories and vendor relationships.
• Guarantee service continuity and cost control.
• Arrange international travel and organize internal events, meetings, and office lunches.
• Oversee the company vehicle fleet and fuel consumption.
