Job Description
M-KOPA is looking for a Field Auditor to join their Retail team in Ghana. You will work as the guardian of retail excellence, conducting rigorous audits across M-KOPA's shop network while analysing performance data, investigating variances, and working with teams to embed operational improvements that protect customers and scale impact across Ghana. As M-KOPA scales from 7 million to 10 million customers, retail excellence and audit integrity are critical to maintaining trust at the last mile.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 3 years of experience in stock management or 2 years as operations and stock auditor in a similar company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Excel and Word with good reporting skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage overlapping timelines
- Good time management, punctuality, and timeliness
- Clear communication via email, telephone, and in person
- Exceptional work ethic and compliance to anti-bribery and corruption policies
- Able to self-manage and take initiative without being micro-managed
Responsibilities
- Conduct proper inventory and compliance audits of M-KOPA retail outlets across Ghana
- Perform physical counts and reconciliation of stock variances in all outlets
- Analyse stock audit results and use findings to monitor and report service performance at stock locations
- Accurately and objectively score shops using established audit processes
- Work with warehouse and stock allocation teams to investigate stock variances and provide solutions
- Assess suitability of outlets for preservation and security of stock and company property
- Prepare detailed audit reports and provide feedback to shops
- Escalate suspicious or fraudulent activities discovered during audits
- Lead in setting up and improving retail audit processes in Ghana
