Job Description

The Head of Compliance for Airtel Money Chad will be responsible for overseeing all compliance activities for the mobile financial services division, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.

Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Law, Audit, or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of financial services regulations in Central Africa.
- Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements.
- Experience in mobile money or fintech compliance preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in French required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the compliance function for Airtel Money Chad.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and respond to regulatory inquiries.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee AML/KYC processes and ensure proper implementation.
- Provide compliance training to staff across the organization.
- Report compliance status and issues to senior management and the Board.
- Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting mobile financial services.
