Academic: University Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Organizational Psychology or any other related field from an accredited institution. Professional: Professional Qualification and/or Postgraduate Diploma in relevant field e.g. Human Resource, Organizational Development or Organizational Psychology.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years working experience in an HR environment of an FMCG company.
  • Core Competencies:

  • Computer literacy especially in Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural and with varied teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive support in recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
  • Administer MPL welfare schemes and processing required documentation for enrollments and terminations.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to staff training and development programs.
  • Coordinate the logistical requirements for various staff engagements, events and projects.
  • Conduct new employee orientation to ensure new hires gain insight into the Company's culture, policies and procedures.
  • Provide proactive assistance on various HR projects and initiatives that provide an employee value proposition that drives a high performance culture at NMGU.
  • Ensure efficiency of the transactional human resources responsibilities (payroll administration, candidate background checks, drafting various HR correspondences, handling onboarding and exit procedures etc.).
  • Maintain and update staff records by ensuring comprehensive information storage, retrieval through scanning and uploading of all hard copy staff correspondences to the HR system folder.
