Job Description

TotalEnergies EP Uganda is offering two (2) internship positions in Geoscience and Reservoir for undergraduate students currently pursuing degrees in geosciences or petroleum engineering. These internships provide a unique opportunity to gain real-world exposure to subsurface operations in one of Africa's most significant upstream oil and gas developments. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme in Geosciences, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, or related discipline
  • Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies
  • Strong academic performance
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a professional environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ugandan national or permanent resident

Responsibilities

  • Support geoscience and reservoir engineering teams on assigned projects
  • Assist in geological data collection, processing, and interpretation
  • Contribute to subsurface mapping and geological modelling tasks
  • Participate in reservoir performance monitoring and data analysis
  • Assist in preparation of technical reports and presentations
  • Learn to apply industry-standard geoscience and reservoir software tools
  • Support database management and quality control of subsurface data
  • Attend technical meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions
