Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme in Development Studies, Social Studies, Sociology, Communication, Law, or related discipline
  • Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies
  • Strong interest in community development and stakeholder engagement
  • Good communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse community groups and organisations
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of local Ugandan languages is an advantage
  • Ugandan national or permanent resident

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination and liaison activities with NGO partners and community organisations
  • Assist in planning and execution of community engagement programmes
  • Contribute to monitoring and reporting of social investment and CSR activities
  • Participate in stakeholder mapping and engagement sessions
  • Support documentation and record-keeping of NGO partnerships and activities
  • Assist in preparation of reports on community relations activities
  • Liaise with internal teams to align NGO coordination with operational requirements
  • Support grievance mechanism processes and community feedback systems
