Analyst to join our
Fraud
Team as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets. M-KOPA has extended over $2 billion in credit to customers across
Africa, reached 7 million people, and 55% of those customers are accessing financial services for the very first time.
This role puts you directly in conversation with customers to gather the intelligence that actually solves cases, managing end-to-end fraud investigations with real responsibility for protecting customer trust.

Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a customer care or customer service environment
- Proven exposure to quality assurance, coaching, or performance monitoring
- Analytical rigour to translate data into clear, constructive feedback
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Comfort working with Freshdesk or similar case management tools
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers by phone to gather fraud intelligence and manage cases end-to-end through Freshdesk
- Conduct KYC fidelity audits and compliance checks
- Enforce the Fraud Risk Management Policy by identifying misconduct and flagging issues to stakeholders
- Support case closure within required timelines
- Analyse fraud data to identify patterns and emerging risks
- Translate findings into actionable insights that inform prevention strategies
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that reduce risk and improve customer safety
