Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in ESG and Sustainability Strategy, Green Lending Initiative planning, Business Promotion, Partnership Strategy, Stakeholder Management, Employee Engagement, and Change Management
  • 4 years experience in Community Development/Sustainability Initiatives and Strategy Development (desirable)
  • Professional qualification in Business Marketing, Finance, or Product Development is an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the bank's sustainability strategy aligned with ESG goals and local/international regulations
  • Monitor and report on the bank's environmental footprint and prepare sustainability reports for board and regulator consumption
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and drive partnerships with environmental organisations for ESG-targeted financing
  • Develop policies and guidelines for sustainability efforts and coordinate green finance projects with business, credit, and operations teams
  • Educate employees and customers on sustainability programs and ensure compliance with sustainability regulations
  • Track progress of sustainability initiatives and update internal teams on ESG metrics
  • Identify and mitigate the bank's sustainability risks and monitor industry trends
