Job Description
KCB Bank Rwanda is looking for a Manager, Sustainability to develop and implement the bank's sustainability strategy, drive ESG initiatives, manage environmental reporting, and foster partnerships that advance green finance and responsible banking practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Business Administration (required).
- Professional course in Business Marketing, Finance or Product Development (advantageous).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in ESG and sustainability strategy.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in green lending initiative planning.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in business promotion and sales.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in partnership strategy and stakeholder management.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in employee engagement, change management and organisational culture management.
- 4 years' experience in community development and sustainability initiatives (desirable).
- 4 years' experience in strategy development (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the bank's sustainability strategy.
- Monitor and report on the bank's environmental footprint.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.
- Develop policies and guidelines for sustainability efforts.
- Coordinate green finance and other sustainability-related projects with business, credit and operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with local and international sustainability regulations.
- Educate employees and customers on sustainability programs.
- Drive partnerships with environmental organisations for ESG targeted financing.
- Identify and mitigate the bank's sustainability risks.
- Prepare sustainability reports for board and regulator consumption.
- Track progress of sustainability initiatives and update internal teams on ESG metrics.
- Draft communications for external stakeholders on sustainability.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations.
- Coordinate meetings with environmental partners.
