Requirements
- Qualifications: 2-5 years in media relations, PR, communications, or journalism. Experience with AI tools for research, writing, and workflow automation. Exceptional project management skills. Excellent verbal and written skills. Comfort with systems and tools like Airtable and CRMs. Alignment with GiveDirectly Values.
Responsibilities
- Media Pitching & Placement: Pitch across all contexts including traditional and non-traditional outlets. Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and thought leaders. Track from pitch to placement. Media Research and Analysis: Reporter research and prospecting. Donor media research. Media monitoring. Internal Systems and Team Support: AI and automation. Coverage tracking in Airtable. Pipeline management in Salesforce.
Benefits
- United States: Base Salary: $74,900, Bonus: 10%. United Kingdom: Base Salary: GBP47,800. Kenya: Base Salary: $42,000. Benefits include health plan, flexible PTO, desk set-up and L&D allowances.
