About the
Role
Seeking a detail-oriented data professional to own survey design, data quality, and analysis within
One
Acre
Fund's MEL team, working closely with field teams to ensure accurate, timely data that informs program decisions and improves impact for farmers.
Responsibilities Survey Development and Programming Program surveys in CommCare with little support and ensure all data quality controls (display conditions, validation conditions, warning messages) are in place before rollout.
Stay up-to-date with CommCare features, and ensure surveys incorporate all needed features for maximum efficiency and high data quality.
KPI, Inventory and Performance Tracking Maintain the MEL team's goals tracker: keep track of survey completion rates, backcheck completion rates, and survey errors and corrections.
Data Cleaning and Analysis Analyze quantitative summary statistics in Excel and/or Stata and prepare results tables for results communication.
For this role specifically, you will have: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to create structure out of chaotic workflows and manage multiple data streams.

Requirements
- Qualifications Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in data analysis, data cleaning, and data quality management.
- Knowledge of Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data visualization)
- Strong proficiency in statistical software, specifically Stata.
- Experience with mobile data collection tools like CommCare (including survey design and programming)
- Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier.
- Demonstrated ability to design, program, and deploy surveys and data collection instruments.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- A rigorous approach to data accuracy and quality assurance.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and drive them to completion.
