Requirements
- This role is only open to citizens or permanent residents of Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Burundi, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and execution for bank reconciliation automation. You’ll partner with tech, treasury, and regional teams to integrate cutting-edge tools directly into our ERP, turning manual tasks into streamlined, automated processes.
- Design and standardize robust pre- and post-payment vendor reconciliation systems. You’ll investigate complex transactions to actively eliminate duplicate payments, resolve aged balances, and ensure absolute compliance.
- Actively identify operational bottlenecks, design corrective action plans, and keep our teams completely audit-ready. You will be the gatekeeper of our financial policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide direct mentorship, coaching, and career development for a team of finance professionals. You’ll build team capabilities, cultivate future leaders, and help recruit outstanding new talent.
- Act as the strategic deputy to the Payments & Treasury leadership team. You’ll serve as a thought partner, lead high-stakes cross-functional projects, and ensure seamless continuity of our operations.
