Job Description
One Acre Fund's country programs are dynamic, fast-moving operations — and they sometimes face high-priority needs that emerge with little warning. A data system that needs urgent redesign. A logistics gap during peak season. A new initiative requiring immediate project management muscle. The Program Rotation Analyst is our answer to that challenge. In this role, you will work on strategic and operational tasks, managing cross-departmental projects, and gaining insight into program design, innovation, business development, field operations, and internal systems.
You will be placed into whichever country team has the most pressing need at a given time, working shoulder-to-shoulder with that team to deliver real impact to farmers. This role is designed for a driven, adaptable generalist who thrives in ambiguity, picks up context quickly, and wants to build a broad foundation across One Acre Fund's operations before growing into a long-term fixed role.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, with demonstrated ability to take on complex, open-ended challenges
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you can structure a problem, identify the critical path, and execute
- Exceptional adaptability — you get up to speed in a new context quickly and can shift gears as priorities change
- Humility and a service orientation — you put farmers and teammates first; you seek feedback and act on it
- Leadership experience at work or outside of it — you have taken ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
- Comfort with ambiguity — you don't need a perfectly defined role to do excellent work
- A genuine long-term passion for agricultural development and for One Acre Fund's mission
- Willingness to live outside of a capital city for the duration of your deployments
- English required; French is a significant advantage given our Francophone country operations

- Synthesize data from field operations, finance, or HR to surface insights and drive decisions.
- Support budget tracking and business variance analysis (BVA) for selected departments.

- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
- Document learnings and recommend adaptations to program design based on field observations.
- Support donor mapping and contribute to concept notes and grant proposals as needed.
- Coordinate with local government and partner organizations to advance program objectives.
