Restless Development is a global non-profit agency that supports the collective power of young leaders to create a better world. This internship supports the Youth Voices Lab (YVL) project, which empowers young Africans in Africa and the diaspora to advocate for their priorities. As an intern you will support the Senior Program Coordinator in implementing the project and supervising Youth Advisory Board Members. Stipend: SLL 3,000. Contract to September 30, 2026.

Requirements
- Must be a young person between 18-30 years and should have participated in Restless Development programs as a volunteer
- Ability to articulate in English and Krio
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with event coordination and digital engagement tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms
- Passion for youth empowerment and engagement
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating the activities of the Youth Advisory Board Members
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among Youth Advisory members
- Help organize and manage virtual and offline engagement activities
- Coordinate and schedule monthly online plenary meetings and in-person gatherings
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items
- Support implementation and dissemination of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab - Power of the Collective Action Plan
- Assist in generating evidence, implementing accountability mechanisms, and supporting youth-led advocacy
- Facilitate capacity-building activities for Youth Advisory Board Members
- Compile quarterly reports showcasing progress, impact, and shared stories
- Support Youth Advisory Board Members in preparing activity reports
- Serve as rapporteur during program team meetings and trainings
- Track float advances and liquidations by the Senior Program Coordinator
- Aid in planning and execution of online engagement via digital tools (project website, Youth Voices Lab App, social media, webinars)
- Assist in organizing youth action-led activities during continental influencing spaces including summits and conferences
