The Sales Director: Payouts & B2B will lead and scale payout and B2B payment processing solutions across Ghana, driving revenue growth and managing a team of sales professionals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership in payments or fintech
  • Proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business in competitive markets in Ghana
  • Experience managing enterprise-level or strategic accounts in Ghana markets
  • Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable business decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience working within complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Deep understanding of African payments ecosystem including mobile money, bank transfers, and card processing

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Team Leadership
  • Lead and scale payout and B2B payment solutions in Ghana market
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of sales managers and executives
  • Oversee full sales cycles including opportunity identification, solution design, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Establish and track KPIs for revenue, transaction volumes, client acquisition, and pipeline health
  • Enterprise Client Relationship & Account Management
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CFOs, CTOs, and finance leaders
  • Lead account planning, business reviews, and growth initiatives to maximise client lifetime value
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across the client portfolio
  • Strategic Planning
  • Define and execute commercial strategy for payout and B2B verticals
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape in Ghana payments market
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide market feedback and drive product development
