Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of security personnel, including security guards, officers, and contractors, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and deployed to meet security objectives.
- Develop and implement security procedures and protocols to protect supply chain assets, including warehouses, distribution centers, and transportation networks.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of supply chain facilities to monitor for security breaches, unauthorized access, and suspicious activities.
- Monitor security systems and technologies, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, and intrusion detection systems, to identify and respond to security threats in real-time.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies within the supply chain, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents, breaches, and thefts, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing incident reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Logistics, and Human Resources, to address security concerns and implement corrective actions.
