Job Description
Acumen is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Senior Associate with at least 5 years of work experience in MEL data systems in an international development context, strong technical skills across data management and visualisation platforms, and a growing interest in AI-powered solutions for a transformative programme across Africa. This role will be based out of Acumen's office in Nairobi or Lagos. Reporting to the Impact Manager: Data, Systems and Reporting, the Senior Associate will play a hands-on role in implementing and maintaining the technology solutions that underpin the programme and the MEL framework.

Requirements
- Essential Criteria: Practical experience in project monitoring and evaluation. Experience across multiple countries in international development. Knowledge of MEL database tools. Experience with Salesforce, data analysis and visualisation. Understanding of AI tools. Desirable: Formal MEL training. Experience with Impact Linked Finance. Power BI, Airtable, Salesforce familiarity.
Responsibilities
- MEL Technology and Reporting: Support MEL technology platform implementation (Salesforce, Power BI, Airtable). Produce routine reports and dashboards. Carry out data analysis. Develop infographics and visualisations. Programme Data Management: Ensure data is collected and managed in line with best practices. Knowledge Management and Learning: Support internal knowledge management system. Capacity Building: Build team capacity for MEL technology.
