Job Description
MTN Nigeria Communications Plc is seeking a Senior Manager - New Market, Enterprise Business based in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Reporting to the General Manager - Business Development in the Enterprise Business Division, this role drives and executes New Markets Business development strategy for MTN Nigeria.
The position focuses on increasing revenue from existing Enterprise customers by uncovering unmet needs, introducing new solutions, and driving deeper adoption of ICT and Converged services.

Requirements
- A first degree in any related field.
- Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- 9 to 17 years experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a Managerial role in Enterprise Business Development.
- Ability to identify and evaluate new market opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to build business cases.
- Skilled at translating market trends into actionable strategies.
- Strong analytical and research skills including market scanning and competitor analysis.
- Technology and ICT Solution Sales experience.
- Experience working in a Telecom or Tech company required.
- Proven track record in new revenue creation.
- Exposure to emerging technologies and digital trends.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the various departments activities in managing new business and market expansion.
- Work with Partnerships, Segments and Solutions Development on issues affecting delivery on new solutions.
- Integrate and align New Markets Development efforts on ICT and Converged solutions portfolio.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new markets, verticals, and solution opportunities that unlock new revenue streams.
- Research and provide insights on market opportunities for new business.
- Validate and size new opportunities and provide justification on which opportunities to pursue.
- Develop, implement, and be responsible for performance KPIs and Metrics of New Markets growth.
- Establish and maintain regular governance processes around New Market opportunities.
- Lead the team to attend industry and Thought Leadership events for insights into trends and growth areas.
- Prepare and drive Proof of Concepts to validate technical and commercial viability of new projects.
- Oversee Project management of new opportunities from idea stage to commercial launch.
- Develop and seek approval for business case justification for all new solutions in the pipeline.
