Requirements
- Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) and testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and cases by collaborating with development teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing using various tools and techniques (e.g., exploratory, API, performance, security, functional, non-functional, and usability).
- Utilize automation tools and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Identify, reproduce, and document software defects accurately and efficiently.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, identify trends, and work with developers to resolve them or recommend improvements on testing processes and tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on potential quality improvements.
- Stay current with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
