Job Description

Responsible for the revenue and architecture of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) solutions for existing and prospective customers, working closely with Senior stakeholders in the Customer and Leadership team and Executives within MTN, including Commercial, Product and Delivery teams throughout the sales cycle, to ensure that proposed technical solutions address the customer’s needs. The solution will span across the capabilities of MTN and its partners. Effective UC&C presales and customer success strategies to ensure relevance of the company's value proposition in the Enterprise marketplace Responsible for cross functional team collaboration to define, deliver and support the design and development of UC&C technology solutions that are fit for purpose Accountable for UC&C solution uptake, performance monitoring and lifecycle management balancing Revenue optimization, Customer retention and Network Utilization BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering. Requirements

  • Relevant OEM UC&C, Cloud and Security Certifications : Huawei, Cisco, Avaya, Meta switch etc.
  • Business and Commercial Acumen
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information technology and Presales
  • Deep understanding of Unified Communication and Collaboration, cloud networking and security technology
  • Prior professional services / consulting background
  • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous
  • Experience working in a large organization
  • Experience in global/multinational enterprises, coupled with working in emerging markets
  • Experience in guiding customer ICT strategy in large organisations
  • Commercial (TCO) and architecture led experience of 3-5 years
  • Hunting of new logos in UC&C, demonstrate moving up the stack
  • Worked with CIOs, CFOs, CEOs to drive proactive pursuits.
  • Strong analytical and complex story-telling skills
  • Curiosity and creativity- for new ideas, trends and practices
  • Growth mindset to keep up with the rapidly changing technology and ecosystems
  • Strong can-do attitude with an ability to use minimum resources to get maximum outputs

Responsibilities

  • Use commercial acumen to translate customer requirements into working solutions that fit within customer budgets
  • Present business cases to Senior Management for approval, funding and prioritization.
  • Anchor the account management and go-to-market activities for key identified clients across segments and regions
  • Support continuous technical relationships with customers and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Provide technical input on pricing for tenders and proposals
  • Work in cross functional teams to define, deliver and support the design and development of UC&C technology solutions that are fit for purpose
  • Participate in the supplier selection process, evaluating usefulness, cost of products and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Keep abreast of current and future trends and contribute to the development, review and analysis of the UC&C Products and Services roadmaps to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in response to client requirements to provide prescriptive guidance on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency and best-practice architectures
