Requirements
- A proven track record of winning business, generating revenue and building strategic partnerships.
- Experience in agricultural, food, commodity or related supply chains.
- Knowledge of ESG, sustainability, traceability, certification or responsible sourcing.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience engaging with senior decision-makers in corporate, investor or development finance environments.
- Knowledge of East African agricultural markets.
- An entrepreneurial approach and the ability to turn opportunities into results.
Responsibilities
- You will lead the development and delivery of a portfolio of commercial advisory work focused on:
- Sustainable coffee supply chains
- Sustainable horticulture supply chains
- Technical assistance services for impact investors and blended finance funds
- ESG, traceability and responsible sourcing solutions
- Building long-term commercial partnerships with corporates, traders, retailers and investors
- You’ll identify opportunities, develop propositions, win contracts and manage delivery, helping businesses build more resilient and sustainable supply chains while generating income that supports Farm Africa’s mission.
