The Channel Reporting Accountant will manage all general ledger entries, perform month-on-month analysis, and coordinate financial reporting activities for Airtel Zambia's channel distribution operations.
Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve open items, pending entries, or reconciliation issues ahead of close deadlines.

Requirements
- CA Zambia, ACCA, CIMA, or Degree in Accounting.
- Member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound Financial Accounting knowledge.
- Knowledge of Customer Accounting Standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all general ledger entries are posted with proper accounting treatment.
- Perform Month-On-Month analysis to identify and investigate unusual movements or discrepancies before book closure.
- Submit Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting certifications to avoid penalties.
- Prepare Management Reports including MTD Sales Report and Cash MIS Daily Shop balances.
- Prepare No Due Certificate and debt swap preparations and closure.
- Perform daily deallocation of Shop E-Value against Cash Delivered to Shops.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements with prompt receipt posting and tracking of open items.
- Facilitate approval of staff device credit memo requests.
- Perform Monthly Cash In Hand and Cash In Transit reconciliation.
- Support follow-up of shop inquiries with USDM Support Team.
- Ensure all customers trading on credit facilities are within agreed credit terms.
