Requirements

• First degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
• 3 or more years of work experience in Software Development and Data Science related projects.
• Knowledge in cloud computing technologies.
• Experience working across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous.
• Detailed working experience of data governance and standards.
• Training in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Analysis.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies and Data Warehousing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Software development and management capabilities.
• System analysis, design and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive business engagement with leaders to support and implement high-quality data-driven decisions.
• Create a Model Factory for Data Science Models and Algorithms to ensure governance.
• Build automated data pipelines and advanced analytics solutions based on multiple data sources.
• Identify useful data and extend advanced analytics use-case development including machine learning models.
• Prepare long-term evolution plans for in-house data science and analytics projects.
• Innovate and advance on existing data infrastructure as business use cases emerge.
• Design and implement modern Data APIs for internal and external data access.
• Develop Advanced analytics and Machine Learning models.
• Build Credit Scoring models for Micro-lending internally and third-party consumption.
• Coach, develop and motivate staff through mentorship and employee engagement projects.
