Requirements

  • Minimum three years of SME credit experience, with international credit experience preferred
  • Experience engaging senior executives in decision-making and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of credit regulatory procedures and compliance standards
  • Willingness to travel to network with branches across regions
  • Ability to collaborate with geographically diverse teams
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and business partnership skills

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and conduct detailed credit analysis on diaspora borrowers to make sound credit recommendations
  • Manage individual pipeline from lead sourcing to booking, partnering with other business lines to ensure timely credit delivery
  • Prepare interim and annual reviews and test covenants for large exposure accounts, communicating material changes to credit committees
  • Pre-flight complex transactions by engaging customers to understand their credit needs and recommend appropriate loan structures
  • Train and support other staff members on credit processes
  • Attend credit committees and participate in team-building activities
