Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the role holder will be responsible for supporting the function in driving value creation, managing the business performance reporting of the domain to support the delivery of business financial targets. The role acts as a point of contact for Business People covering the function and provides and interprets financial information to all stakeholders for informed decision making.
Get involved in the budgeting and forecasting process for the Retail domain providing analytical support of drivers and processes of the plans, including provision of historical individual and business performance facts necessary for objective performance goal setting.
On a monthly basis, provide product performance reports with insights on performance drivers including Deposit/loan concentration tracking and Top 20/Top 50 customers/schemes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Professional qualification in Accounting such as ACCA or CPA.
- Technical and practical skills in accounting and Finance.
- In-depth understanding of short, medium and long term strategies, goals and objectives setting.
- Detailed understanding of Managing for Value reporting.
- Appreciation of the external economic, political, legal and regulatory environment and their impact to the business.
- Strong Computer skills and other Analytical tools including Power BI.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent comprehension skills to understand and interpret financial data and economic trends.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Revenue Assurance for Retail on a monthly basis to ensure income leakage is managed.
- Provide monthly detailed analysis of actual achievements against budgets/forecasts both at individual (branch managers/relationship managers) and segment levels, with clear articulation of NII and NFI movers for price, volume, product mix and currency depicting the trend and forward looking view.
- Provide detailed monthly analysis on channel performance including profitability analysis for Branches, Card acquiring, Agency Banking, Bancassurance among others.
- Design models for tracking cost of serving customers at different Retail channels to drive efficiency and value for money.
- Provide leadership in driving correct customer segmentation in different systems to aid in effective product performance analysis.
- Drive real-time predictive analytics through utilization of interactive data visualization tools like Power BI to enable business insights in formats easily understood by decision makers.
- Support other business partners and data analytics teams in interpretation of financial information and generation of Power BI dashboards to support real time performance management.
- Ensure alignment on all financial reports for the Retail Business across different stakeholders including the Retail
- Assemble and analyze Retail/Corporate data as well as Macro, Industry and market specific data into information and avail to management in a timely fashion for strategic, tactical and operational requirements.
- Review and challenge Retail capital investment projects to ensure viability, consistency with Business unit and overall Bank strategy, and monitor post implementation for delivery of committed benefits.
