Job Description
MTN Ghana is seeking a General Manager, Home Technology to provide strategic leadership and end-to-end oversight of MTN Ghana's Home Technology ecosystem. You will steer the planning, enablement, delivery, and performance of the Fixed Broadband (FBB) and Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) business, driving long-term technology evolution, operational excellence, and commercial impact of broadband offerings across consumer and SME segments.

Requirements
- A First Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Post-graduate degree (MSc or MBA) is required. Relevant professional certifications in technology, telecoms, project management, or business (PMP, ITIL, Lean) are an advantage. Scrum and Agile certifications are an added advantage. Minimum 10 years of experience in Telecommunication management, broadband technologies and customer experience management. 5 or more years of Senior Management experience in the Technology or Telecommunications industry. Proven experience in Broadband or FTTH rollout, IT/Digital transformation, or Technology transformation. Demonstrated ability to align technology delivery with commercial performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership in shaping the Fixed Broadband and FTTH technology vision, policies, and architectural guidelines aligned with MTN Group standards.
- Direct the long-term Home Technology strategy covering network planning, technology evolution, FWA strategy, FTTH rollout, home network capacity, service platforms, and technical product development.
- Oversee execution of all major broadband network transformation and capacity programmes, including end-to-end programme management of all Home & FBB infrastructure and Backoffice enablement projects.
- Drive cross-functional technology integration between Broadband Solutions, Broadband Operations, Commercial Planning, Digital, and Customer Operations to achieve seamless product launch, onboarding, service delivery, and operational support.
- Ensure operational and technology units implement scalable, resilient, and future-proof FTTH and Fixed Broadband technologies including fibre core, access network, home devices, and service enablement platforms.
- Lead continuous improvement of Home network performance — capacity, latency, stability, Quality of Service, network architecture optimisation, and service assurance.
- Oversee development of Home Technology platforms that support digital self-care, automation, remote troubleshooting, and superior customer experience.
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure all Fixed Broadband processes, investments, and technology initiatives directly enable Shareholder Return — supporting growth in Market Share, HOME Revenue, EBITDA margins, Revenue Assurance, CAPEX efficiency, and Net Adds.
