The Group CFO partners with the East Africa Group CEO and business unit leaders in driving the financial strategy and performance across all East African markets.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, CA, CPA, or CIMA
- At least 3 years in a senior finance management position
- Knowledge of integrated accounting systems
- Understanding of local tax laws including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax
- Proven track record of managing large teams and driving process improvements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the financial strategy, anticipating trends and complex challenges
- Drive profitability of the business and guide the organization on growing ROE, revenues, and IFRS profits
- Develop and maintain effective Board relationships and participate in Board reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across the Group
- Provide effective management of the company's financial and other resources
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions
- Manage large finance teams across multiple East African markets
- Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements
- Lead the annual operating planning and financial forecasting processes
