Requirements

  • Minimum 10–15 years progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, governance, risk, compliance, or process excellence roles within complex, regulated organizations
  • Proven experience at senior leadership level engaging Executive Committees, Board Committees, and regulators
  • Strong background in governance frameworks, risk management, regulatory compliance, and process excellence
  • Experience working within a three-lines-of-defense model
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree and professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, Six Sigma) are added advantages

Responsibilities

  • Provide Group-wide strategic leadership and oversight for supply chain governance and process excellence across Equity Group Holdings and all subsidiaries
  • Design, steward, and ensure the sustained effectiveness of supply chain governance frameworks, operating models, and policy standards across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan, and DRC
  • Monitor, interpret, and govern translation of regulatory requirements applicable to Procurement, Vendor Management, Warehousing, Facilities, HSE, and Real Estate operations
  • Govern the identification, assessment, and treatment of material supply chain risks to protect resilience and service delivery
  • Establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee governance of Group Procurement Management Committee (GPMC) and subsidiary-level procurement governance structures
  • Engage with Executive Committees, Board Committees, regulators, and auditors on governance design, oversight, and strategic alignment
