Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP, SQL, and Visual Basic. Certification in Microsoft Systems Power Platform is required. Certificate(s) in Web Architecture or related technical disciplines. Knowledge of databases, web storage, and cloud computing technologies is desirable. IT Governance accreditation such as CGPE is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing full-stack development services. At least 1 year of experience in a role serving the Financial Services sector, working with a core banking system. Experience working within a large team to deliver IT projects against prescribed budgets and timelines. Experience supporting Finance Department ERP systems and associated ICT processes.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and DRRT processes. Strong understanding of various IT architectures and emerging technologies. Experience using Microsoft Power BI for business analysis and Power Automate for creating workflows. Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Microsoft Power Platform development expertise, experience with cloud-based infrastructure including Azure, and knowledge of system integration and API installation are required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support automated workflows and business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint to drive effective utilization and integration across the organization. Support the implementation and integration of the MIS core banking system and ensure seamless connectivity with workflow platforms and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain data analytics solutions that link the core banking system with business intelligence reporting tools, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability across the organization. Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to support management decision-making and financial reporting requirements.
- Support system resilience through effective backup and disaster recovery configurations across systems and platforms. Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and contribute to risk management processes to reduce security vulnerabilities. Conduct regular security assessments and monitoring of IT systems.
- Coordinate and support ICT adoption and migration initiatives, including evaluating new digital tools, conducting user training, and driving measurable improvement in staff digital adoption. Provide effective and responsive IT support to end users, handling technical issues, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction. Maintain system integration and API connectivity and contribute to project management activities using appropriate methodologies.
