Assessor (Seasonal
Talent
Development
Opportunity) in the
Grabouw region, to independently conduct
Cold
Chain
Inspections or
Services according to standard protocols, work instructions and procedures as prescribed through PPECB's legislative mandate.
This is a developmental opportunity for seasonal employees to gain additional competencies within a 24-month programme.
The programme allows the incumbent sufficient time for product exposure, training, assessment, and soft skills development, including I-thrive, additional soft-skills courses, and courses to prepare for the new world of work.
Depending on regional needs, delegates may take part in

Requirements
- A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Practical experience, theoretical knowledge and competence in Container Loading.
- Experience in various cold chain functions related to the specified geographical area would be advantageous.
- Computer literate.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and/or with minimum supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A valid code 08 driving licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Own mobile phone.
Responsibilities
- Monitor temperatures and supervise containers at various loading points.
- Conduct cold store surveys.
- Perform administrative tasks associated with the job level.
- Communicate with various clients on own specific tasks and outcome of decisions.
- Build and maintain good relations with PPECB clients.
- Participate in continuous self-improvement according to the PPECB performance framework.
