Job Description

The Operations Department has a vacancy for 1 x Junior Inspector (Seasonal Talent Development Opportunity) in the Grabouw region, to conduct inspection of products and equipment according to standard protocols as prescribed through PPECB's legislative mandate and for the developmental opportunities for some of our seasonal employees to gain additional competencies within a 24-month period. The programme allows the incumbent sufficient time for product exposure, training, assessment, and soft skills development. During the 24-month period the selected delegates will be supported with a dedicated training plan and supervision by the region. Exposure and training will include: TITAN 2.0 competency; I-thrive development; additional soft-skills courses; and additional courses to prepare for the new world of work (NWOW). Depending on regional needs, delegates may have the opportunity to take part in Relief Duty for exposure on additional products, with accommodation and S&T allowance during such placements. Practical experience, theoretical knowledge/exposure or competency in Stone fruit, Blueberries and Vegetables would be advantageous.
