The Nigeria program, established in 2018, is headquartered in Minna, Niger state. We're currently serving over 100,000 unique farmers across the state via our inputs on credit 'Core' program, inputs on cash 'Retail' program, and have a free tree seedling distribution 'Agroforestry' program. The Government Relations & Partnerships Lead plays a strategic role in shaping One Acre Fund Nigeria's external engagement, building partnerships, and ensuring policy alignment at national and sub-national levels. You will lead the organisation's relationship with government institutions, donors, and external partners to drive compliance, collaboration, and long-term program sustainability. This is a senior leadership role with direct managerial responsibilities for the Government Relations and Communications teams. About the Role Seeking a skilled Data Analyst with 3+ years’ experience to lead analytics projects, build dashboards, and turn complex datasets into insights that drive One Acre Fund Nigeria’s growth and impact for smallholder farmers. We started working in Nigeria in 2018, serving just 150 farmers. That figure grew year on year, and we now serve more than 300,000 farmers across three regions in Niger State: Minna, Mokwa, and Iseyin. This role oversees product and service trials that enhance farmer livelihoods and program income. The core of the job is product innovation and trial management, supported by strong human-centred design skills that can be applied where relevant. Trial Design & Strategy: Independently design and plan high-rigour agronomic and adoption trials, integrating farmer-centred insights, detailed protocols, and risk mitigation strategies. Field Execution & Research: Lead market research and Social & Behaviour Change (SBC) campaigns, overseeing qualitative methods (FGDs, interviews) and prototype testing to validate farmer needs. Team Supervision: Manage and develop a team of field officers and managers, providing technical training in HCD and ensuring high-fidelity execution of trial protocols. Data Analysis & Synthesis: Conduct quantitative analysis using STATA or R, triangulating numerical data with qualitative behavioural insights to refine impact models. Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Translate complex findings into actionable reports and decision memos, liaising independently with global teams and external departments. Performance Management: Oversee staff KPIs, professional development plans, and unbiased hiring to ensure continuous improvement in trial efficiency and team capability.
