Job Description
To clean all equipment on a regular basis.
▪ Materials Tester is responsible for cleaning the company equipment on a regularly basis and that all test equipment is cleaned after completion of any job.

Requirements
- Honor Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, or another related field.
- Skills and experience sufficient to be recognized as a qualification through – Recognition of Prior Learning.
- Proven years of laboratory,
- Knowledge and familiar with the latest Civil Engineering Testing Methods (e.g TMH and SANS).
- Language: Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak).
- Competencies
- Sampling and preparation experience.
- Administration experience will be advantageous.
- Must be physically willing and able to work with, pick up and move samples as and when required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor/Laboratory Manager with all tasks, whether it’s on site or in the commercial laboratory.
- Complete materials testing in one laboratory division, including soils, asphalt, seals, concrete, aggregate with bench calculation as and when required for testing.

- A Materials Tester is responsible for cleaning up the work area where the job was carried out and will make sure its free off all consumables used to perform the job (masking tape, tins).
