Job Description

BURN is looking for an MRV/Feasibility Studies Coordinator with knowledge and skill in Project Management to assist in coordinating people and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The role is based in Kinshasa, DRC, and the ideal candidate should be capable of taking up a project and running with it with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in field team leadership and management in areas like data collection or sales
  • Excellent technical abilities to carry out audit-like work in a data-heavy environment
  • Relevant technical data handling skills using tools like Kobo and basic analysis using MS Excel
  • Strong experience in field team leadership and management across multiple locations
  • Strong field monitoring and evaluation skills
  • Effective communication skills for liaison with team members and customers, including providing training
  • People and teamwork skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving
  • English and French required for DRC; Lingala speakers will have an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Support development of country-customised training materials for feasibility studies enumerators
  • Recruit, train, and supervise location-efficient field enumerator teams
  • Conduct continuous review and audit of MRV and feasibility studies processes to ensure timely and quality completion
  • Ensure data and documentation comply with laid-down SOPs and methodologies
  • Collaborate with Carbon Ops, Data and Analytics, Customer Experience, and Commercial teams
  • Manage routine corrections of erroneous output and document lessons for continuous improvement
  • Create comprehensive monthly reports on the Pareto of issues including root causes, trends, and options for solutions
  • Work with the MRV Manager and relevant internal stakeholders to set up surveys reflecting the unique fuel and stove culture and stove usage monitoring methodologies
  • Meet critical KPIs including timely project execution, delivery of quality error-free field data, and cost-optimised budgets
