Job Description
Wave is looking for a Premium Cash Assistant to be the first point of contact for customers and agents at its Premium Agency in the upcountry of Burkina Faso. Under the supervision of the Premium Cash Officer, you will manage the daily reconciliation of transactions and help agents and clients with liquidity needs. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in the upcountry.
Support agent and client needs regarding Wave's offer, account opening, how the system works, the app, and physical card.

Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a cashier in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, cash handling, or delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in French.
- Previous experience in front-office customer service or in the banking sector.
- Very vigilant, detail-oriented, with strong integrity.
- Knowledge of Wave products is an added value.
- Speaking English and a local language (Moore or Dioula) is an added advantage.
- Work authorization in Burkina Faso required.
Responsibilities
- Help agents nearby with liquidity needs including deposits and withdrawals.
- Maintain daily reconciliation of premium points.
- Ensure that all cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury system.
- Request sufficient funds promptly to ensure rebalancing with agents and clients.
- Report any discrepancies or challenges encountered to the Premium Cash Officer.
- Report fake bills to leadership.
