As our Quantity Surveyor, you are the financial heartbeat of our physical expansion. You’ll oversee the cost integrity and financial health of our branch buildouts and infrastructure projects across Nigeria. This isn't just about spreadsheets; it’s about mastery. You will ensure that every Naira we invest in our physical footprint is used honestly and efficiently to create spaces that bring financial happiness to our customers. You’ll be a strategic partner who understands that a building’s value is measured from the first brick to its long-term maintenance. Location: Lagos, Nigeria Key Responsibilities Cost Planning & Intelligence: Maintain a real-time database of market rates for materials and labour across Nigeria. Feasibility & Estimates: Create detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and pre-tender estimates that allow us to move fast without losing precision. Procurement Partnership: Collaborate with the Procurement team to prequalify and vet contractors, ensuring we work with partners who share our commitment to quality. Financial Control: Negotiate and manage "Variation Orders," ensuring every deviation from the budget is justified and approved. Maintenance Integration: Provide lifecycle costing analysis to ensure our materials are durable and cost-effective to maintain over time. Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial or retail roll-outs (e.g., banking branches or retail outlets)
  • Experience managing infrastructure projects across different geographical regions in Nigeria.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.
  • Sc.) in Quantity Surveying.
  • Mandatory Professional Membership: Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS)

Responsibilities

  • You’ll keep our "Moniepoint Rate Guide" current and accurate.
  • Tender Management: Lead commercial evaluations of tenders and provide data-backed recommendations for contract awards.
  • Value Engineering: Identify innovative ways to reduce costs during design phases while strictly maintaining our brand standards.
  • Contract Administration: Manage the full contract lifecycle, including Advance Payment Bonds, Performance Bonds, and site measurements for milestone certifications.
  • Audit & Compliance: Ensure all civil works comply with Nigerian building codes, HSE standards, and our internal governance policies.
