Job Description
KCB Group is seeking a Reconciliation Manager based in Burundi.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the job holder will oversee the overall reconciliation function of the bank by ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in place.
The role involves coordinating with branches, business units and the central reconciliation unit for daily reversal of suspense items and ensuring timely submission of monthly suspense returns.

Requirements
- University degree in Business Accounting or related degree.
- Master in Finance will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience with at least 2 years in Banking Operations.
- One year experience in Reconciliation suspense account.
- One year experience in Management report Preparation and Presentation.
- One year experience in analytical Review.
- Excellent planning, organization and Business report writing skills.
- Ability to anticipate issues and design appropriate solutions.
- Effective business writing and professional communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and forecasting skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in championing high performance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the overall reconciliation function of the bank through engagement with branches, business units and central reconciliation unit.
- Work with reconciliation teams in units and branches for submission of monthly suspense returns.
- Develop processes, reports and systems to facilitate ongoing improvement in efficiency and quality of suspense reconciliations.
- Act as representative of finance department for projects and change processes impacting reconciliation processes.
- Ensure proper back up records of Reconciliation returns for the bank.
- Liaise with KCB Group Central Reconciliation team for reports submission and resolution of suspense items.
- Ensure reconciliation of general suspense debit, general suspense credit and all accounts designated as other assets and liabilities.
- Ensure timely closure of internal and external audit issues relating to suspense account management.
