As the Regional Director for South Africa, Kenya and Nigéria, they will be responsible for defining, executing, and scaling EBANX’s business across the key markets of the region. You will be the P&L owner for the region, leading cross-functional market development initiatives, driving local partnerships, securing regulatory approvals, supporting the commercial activities to acquire high-value merchants, and ensuring operational excellence. The role requires a strong balance of strategic vision, business acumen, regulatory fluency, and local execution capability to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. In addition to that, the Regional Director will be the leadership reference for the ebankers who live in the Hub, independently of their functions, promoting the right culture, collaboration, and result-oriented environment. Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market assessments and ensure alignment with EBANX’s global strategy.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with banks, payment processors, PSPs, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop clear competitive positioning and go-to-market strategies tailored to each local market.
  • Monitor regulatory, commercial, and payments landscape developments and provide relevant market intelligence to support strategic decisions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with local regulators, ensuring operations are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Partner with the Regulatory and Compliance teams to oversee licensing processes and implement risk mitigation frameworks ali
