Job Description
KCB Bank Kenya is seeking a SAHL Banking Cluster Manager for the Great Rift, Central, Eastern, and Nyanza regions to drive Islamic banking business development and operational excellence across assigned branches. The role ensures Shariah compliance, builds staff capacity on Islamic banking principles, and manages stakeholder relationships to grow the SAHL (Islamic banking) product portfolio.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university (Required)
- Islamic Banking Certification (Required)
- Master's Degree in any business-related field (Added Advantage)
- 5 years minimum total experience
- 5 years Islamic Banking experience (Required)
- 3 years Relationship and Portfolio Management experience (Required)
- 3 years Sales Management experience (Required)
- 2 years Stakeholder Management experience (Required)
- 1 year People Management experience (Required)
- 3 years Credit Operations experience (Desirable)
- 2 years Banking operations experience (Desirable)
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics across branches and recommend improvement actions
- Coordinate with the SAHL Product Support Manager to resolve product or system issues affecting branch operations
- Facilitate feedback from branches and customers to improve SAHL products and service delivery
- Work closely with branch teams and Shariah Compliance to maintain adherence to approved SAHL product structures
- Build capacity and awareness of Islamic banking principles, processes, and product knowledge among branch staff
- Conduct training and refresher sessions to strengthen staff competence in offering SAHL products and services
- Promote a culture of ethical and Shariah-compliant banking across the cluster
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, Risk, and Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless product support
- Prepare and submit cluster performance reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations
- Work with assigned cluster of branches to identify and pursue business development opportunities in line with Islamic banking principles and market potential
- Partner with Business Functions within the assigned cluster to provide excellent customer relationship management to SAHL Banking customers
- Provide operational and compliance guidance and support to branch staff on SAHL banking procedures, policies, and systems
