Job Description

The Senior Business Applications Officer will lead support, optimisation, and implementation of new modules for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the ERP function. The role is heavily focused on manufacturing, planning, and advanced warehouse modules, ensuring system efficiency, data integrity, and seamless cross-functional integration. Reporting to the Global Deployment and support experience for manufacturing, planning, and advanced warehousing modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central V13 and above.

Requirements

  • Understanding and experience with Business Central from V13 through to the current V27.
  • Functional process, administration, and entry-level development knowledge of MS Business Central.
  • Understanding of basic SQL.
  • Familiarity with NAV project documentation using the Sure Step methodology.
  • Understanding of version control in NAV development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Certification (added advantage).

Responsibilities

  • Lead support and new module implementation for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Assist in integration developments and support.
  • Handle JET reports support for users.
  • Update and maintain the ERP Issue Tracker.
  • Assist in preparing information and research materials and maintain PowerPoint presentations.
  • Take notes and memos during meetings; type documents, drafts, and reports; sort and manage files.
  • Head of ERP, the position plays a critical role in strengthening ERP performance, supporting users, and driving continuous system improvements.
  • Be the lead for Manufacturing, Planning, and Advanced Warehouse modules — covering configuration, deployment, training, support, development, and documentation.
  • Document ERP user manuals and maintain all system change logs and upgrade tasks per SOP and ERP Documentation templates.
