Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years in Credit Administration, 3 years in Credit Monitoring and Credit Reporting
  • Minimum 4 years in Banking Operations and 3 years in Stakeholder Engagement (Internal & External)
  • Minimum 2 years in Team Supervision and 3 years enforcing credit regulations and policies
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS 9, ECL computation, and credit portfolio management
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the unit to generate, review, and maintain loan credit reports for BPR Management and KCB Group in accordance with credit policy and Central Bank (BNR) regulations
  • Prepare and submit quarterly Board Credit Committee (BCC) decks covering credit portfolio information, trends analysis, and adherence confirmation
  • Ensure timely and accurate computation of IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) with properly updated model parameters
  • Monitor credit portfolio trends, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective and proactive actions
  • Lead, organize, coach, and coordinate team tasks in credit monitoring, reporting, and administration
  • Monitor loan migration and communicate early alerts to management with recommended risk management strategies
  • Facilitate internal, external, and Central Bank audits and ensure timely closure of all credit risk and compliance reviews
  • Support review of credit policies and processes governing lending, including input on Central Bank draft regulations
