Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Credit Monitoring: 3 years (essential)
- Credit Reporting: 3 years (essential)
- Stakeholder engagement: 3 years (essential)
- Team supervision: 2 years (essential)
- Banking operations: 4 years (essential)
- Enforcement of credit regulations and policies: 3 years (essential)
- Credit Administration: 2 years (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Supervise the unit to generate, review, and maintain loan credit reports for presentation to management and KCB Group.
- Prepare and submit quarterly Board Credit Committee deck presenting credit portfolio information and trends.
- Ensure review of credit portfolio trends, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure computation of IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss is timely and accurately done.
- Oversee the Credit Administration Unit for assessment and decisions on credit applications.
- Apply monitoring of Core Banking System to identify loan related issues.
- Monitor the credit filing team to ensure files and documents are well organized.
- Lead, organize, coach and coordinate credit monitoring, reporting and admin team tasks.
- Communicate with management to provide status updates on credit monitoring and administration activities.
